Story by story, characters of legends, myths, and tales are doomed to find a home in our world. More specifically? San Diego, California.

No one knows why the majority of them landed in that city, or why they were even there in the first place. All anyone knows is that they're there and they've become a part of the population, as if they'd always been there, assuming the identities of regular city folk with regular jobs and lives. Magic looms like a dark cloud over their heads, reminding each of them where they truly belong. But as they find a way to live among the normal people they ask themselves the question of how they went from being people of tales and stories to being typical San Diegans. Some look for escape, some look for a better life. All they really know is they need to work together to live, and to remember where they came from, though it fades, like a memory in the mist for them.
